2 Days Tanzania lodge safari is a package that fits business travelers & others with time constraints or tight budgets. This short Tanzania safari is a package made up of 2 days and 1 night in a mid–range accommodation.

Our exciting 2 days lodge safari in Tanzania takes you to the best Northern Tanzania safari Parks of Tarangire National Park the place for elephants & to the world nature wonder “The Ngorongoro Crater” with big chances of spotting the big 5 in such a short period.

The highlight of this 2day Tanzania Lodge safari is the large elephant population & huge baobab trees in Tarangire, about 6000 elephants were recorded in this park, and you may also expect to see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, buffalo warthog, baboon, impala, Gerenuk & the rare species of Great Kudu, Oryx & the Ash stalling. Over 400 species of bird were recorded here. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals & countless birds of prey can also be seen.

The 2 days Tanzania Lodge safari will also include a visit to UNESCO’S world heritage site The Ngorongoro Crater which is referred to by many as the 8th wonder of the world. It is an exciting drive when descent 600 meters high walls with lots of corners to the crater floor.

Yearly around water supply & fodder enable the Crater to support a larger number of wildlife which include herds of African elephants, buffaloes, eland zebra, hippos & the rare black rhino. This beautiful Crater has a dense population of predators like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals & the ever illusion leopard which sometimes need a sharp eye to spot. It is very much possible to spot the big 5 in the course of a single visit to the crater floor.

The 2 days Tanzania lodge safari package will include one night stay at a Country lodge in Karatu or similar. This safari package can be tailored to 3 days lodge safari by adding one night & a visit to Lake Manyara national park on the last day before driving back to Arusha. Day 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Distance: 139 km
Non-Game Viewing Time: 2 to 3 hrs.
You will leave Arusha at around 08:00 for Tarangire National Park, you will pass by Arusha town for any last-minute purchase before heading to the bush. The driving will be across beautiful Masai steppe and many villages, reaching Makuyuni junction, you will take the road to the left and drive along the Arusha – Dodoma highway toward Tarangire National Park, a drive of about 2:30 hrs on a tarmac road. At the gate, it will take you less than 15 minutes for your driver to sort out some park formalities. Game drives will start right from the gate, you may anticipate seeing many animals & birds including the rare species of Great Kudu, Fringed-Eared Oryx as well as the Ash Stalling.
Tarangire national park is famous for its elephant population of about 6000 wandering around the Tarangire Lake Manyara ecosystem, a huge baobab tree and tree-climbing python is one of the highlights of this park.
Your safari driver guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas at the river bank & Lakeshore where most of the animals are gathering for water & green pastures. Tarangire River & the dam on the southwest corner of the park are the only permanent sources of water in the entire park supporting a larger number of wildlife including eland, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, and lots of birds. Lion, leopard, hyena. Jackals, cheetahs can also be seen here. Packed lunch will be served inside the park. Later afternoon drive across Lake Manyara gate & up to the Great Rift Valley escarpment, you will stop at Lake Manyara viewpoint for a washroom and some nice pictures of Lake Manyara & its forest during the sunset. Afterward, proceed to Country Lodge at the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.
Overnight at Country Lodge or Similar close to Karatu town. All meals included.
Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Distance: 172 km
Time: 3 to 4 hrs
After breakfast, your 2 days on the Tanzania Lodge safari continue as we take you to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will start by driving along the beautiful high-lying farmlands of Karatu & to Ngorongoro gate for check-in afterward drive up to the crater rim, stop at the Crater viewpoint for a nice view & pictures of the Crater floor from the rim then drive along the rim & ascending 600 meters high walls to the Crater floor for a wonderful game viewing. The unfolded volcanic caldera which is sometimes referred to as the 8th nature wander of the world is home to a larger number of animal species. Yearly adequate water supply & fodder enable Ngorongoro Crater to support a large number of wildlife which include herds of wildebeest, buffalo, African elephant, zebra, eland, hippos, gazelle & the rare black rhino.
Ngorongoro Crater is also home to a dense population of predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. Birds are abundant from large flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi, pelicans, Ibises, ostrich, goose & other county birds. Packed lunch will be served on the crater floor. Late afternoon drives out & back to Arusha where your safari ends.

Our 2 days Tanzania lodge safari adventure can be altered to 3 days by adding one more night & a visit to Lake Manyara National Park on the last day before driving back to Arusha.
